OUR MISSION
We exist to help heal hearts, homes, and hallways around the world.
OUR VALUES
Beloved University is guided by three core values: people, progress, and purpose.
We believe people are essential to the strength and legacy of communities. Through therapeutic programming, we unite people by dismantling barriers to connection, such as PTSD, trauma, anxiety, insecurity, inadequacy, and mistrust.
We see progress as a natural outcome when people actively seek communal connection. In our programs, participants find comfort through conversation and embark on a journey of self-discovery, challenging themselves to change and allowing love to nurture their true selves. Ultimately, this leads to purpose.
As we provide more opportunities for people to connect with others, traumatic responses to stress transform into decisions of strength and moments of clarity. We discover purpose when we understand that who we are is not what we do, where we are from, or what has happened to us. Instead, it is a result of being ourselves.
OUR VISION
Through our efforts, we hope to catalyze the formation of more youth-led spaces that prioritize purpose and identity by engaging youth in activities that promote self-understanding, resiliency, and a sense of belonging. Through holistic art activities, empowered peer support, and strength-based accountability, youth can build on their understanding of resiliency, improve their coping abilities, and prioritize the entirety of their being: physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Beloved University is a mental health education company founded by Ke’Amber Ford.
